Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY HONG KONG LIMITED is seeking an Energy System Project Management Experienced Professional to support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling and delivering HV/MV substation projects. You will act as the primary technical contact and coordinate with engineers, designers and commissioning teams to ensure project quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Hold a High Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.
• Possess 3 to 5+ years of direct engineering delivery experience in utility-scale HV/MV substation or power grid projects.
• Hold valid safety training certification.
• Experience in GIS, power transformers, protection & control systems or power distribution networks is highly preferred.
• Own solid analytical capabilities for effective technical troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Possess strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills to liaise with clients, utilities and civil subcontractors.
• Self-motivated, independent, and capable of working efficiently under pressure.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Possession of a valid driver license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling and executing construction activities and conduct risk mitigation for HV/MV substations.
• Act as the technical coordination focal point for assigned projects and review technical content.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, commissioning staff and cross-discipline teams for technical alignment and quality.
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets and resource plans across design, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Serve as primary technical contact for clients to build trust and ensure clear communication and standardized delivery.
• Be willing to work on-site in Hong Kong and Macau and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Undertake additional duties assigned by the Operation Manager.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, procedures and guidelines.
