Job summary

Mission Critical Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Systems Specialist to own HV switching operations for Hong Kong datacentres and provide technical authority across MV/LV systems.

You will author switching instructions, support MV activities with the local Operations team, participate in factory testing, assist in design reviews and contribute to safety investigations across live sites and new developments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on HV switching operations and LV electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV electrical infrastructure, including generators, UPS, PTUs, ATS and associated systems.
• Ability to explain complex electrical systems clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin/Cantonese.
• Comfortable working with Operations teams, General Contractors, consultants and project teams.
• Strong focus on electrical safety, operational reliability and risk management.

Job description

As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you’ll be a key technical authority working closely Operations, Development, Commissioning and Project teams. You will take the ownership of high-voltage electrical operations while providing technical expertise across MV and LV systems, maintenance, commissioning, design reviews and electrical safety.
