Job summary

Siemens Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Electrical/Automation Engineer to support substation RTU/PLC systems on-site. You will perform troubleshooting, configuration, maintenance and on-site testing to meet project timelines, while coordinating with the Project Manager and clients.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical/control/automation engineering, strong knowledge of RTU/PLC systems, and proficiency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level or above education in Electrical/Electronic/Control and Automation Engineering is required.
Minimum 5 years in electrical, electronic, control and automation engineering.
Solid experience with automation RTU/PLC systems is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform on-site troubleshooting, device configuration, maintenance, repairs and test-and-commission for substation automation RTUs.
Deliver assigned project activities on schedule and provide updates to Project Manager and stakeholders.
Participate in standby duty rosters including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors during site works ensuring safety and quality compliance.
Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues using specialized tools.
Prepare technical manuals and documents for submission and assist engineering team.
