Job summary

RAM-CHEM Group seeks a dedicated lab technician to support electroplating and surface finishing analyses in Hong Kong. You will perform bath analyses, Hull Cell tests and product verification, while assisting engineers with investigations and trials.

Role requires attention to detail, basic chemistry knowledge, and willingness to learn. On-site duties include maintaining records, equipment, and providing field support when required.

Qualifications

• Secondary education or above in Chemistry, Applied Science or related discipline.
• Relevant electroplating/PCB, surface finishing or lab testing experience preferred.
• Basic chemical analysis knowledge and lab operations.
• Experience with plating bath analysis or Hull Cell testing is a plus.
• Ability to follow testing procedures and maintain records.
• Willing to learn and adapt in a technical environment.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Cantonese speaking is required; Mandarin is a plus.
• Fresh graduates with relevant training also considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine electroplating bath analysis and chemical testing.
• Conduct Hull Cell tests, sample evaluation and product verification.
• Monitor bath conditions and chemical concentrations; record results.
• Assist engineers with investigations of defects and process issues.
• Support bath maintenance, chemical additions and process control.
• Assist in new product trials and customer production trials.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and testing instruments.
• Provide on-site technical support at customer facilities when needed.
• Follow safety and chemical-handling procedures.
