RAM-CHEM Group seeks a dedicated lab technician to support electroplating and surface finishing analyses in Hong Kong. You will perform bath analyses, Hull Cell tests and product verification, while assisting engineers with investigations and trials.

Role requires attention to detail, basic chemistry knowledge, and willingness to learn. On-site duties include maintaining records, equipment, and providing field support when required.

Formación

• Secondary education or above in Chemistry, Applied Science or related discipline.
• Relevant electroplating/PCB, surface finishing or lab testing experience preferred.
• Basic chemical analysis knowledge and lab operations.
• Experience with plating bath analysis or Hull Cell testing is a plus.
• Ability to follow testing procedures and maintain records.
• Willing to learn and adapt in a technical environment.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Cantonese speaking is required; Mandarin is a plus.
• Fresh graduates with relevant training also considered.

Responsabilidades

The role is based on the company's existing electroplating engineering recruitment profile.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine electroplating bath analysis, chemical testing and process monitoring.

• Conduct Hull Cell tests, sample evaluation and product verification according to established procedures.

• Assist in monitoring bath conditions, chemical concentrations and general process performance.

• Maintain accurate laboratory test records and prepare preliminary test reports.

• Assist engineers in investigating plating defects, quality issues and process abnormalities.

• Support chemical additions, bath maintenance and process-control activities.

• Assist in new product trials, application testing and customer production trials.

• Maintain laboratory equipment, testing instruments, chemical reagents and samples.

• Provide on-site technical support at customer facilities when required.

• Follow laboratory safety, chemical-handling and workplace safety procedures.

Requirements

• Secondary education, Certificate, Diploma or above, preferably in Chemistry, Applied Science, Chemical Technology or a related discipline.

• Relevant experience in electroplating, PCB manufacturing, surface finishing, chemical processing or laboratory testing is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of chemical analysis and laboratory operations.

• Experience in plating bath analysis, Hull Cell testing or routine chemical control will be an advantage.

• Able to follow testing procedures and maintain accurate records.

• Responsible, detail-oriented, hands-on and willing to learn.

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

• Able to communicate in Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.

• Fresh graduates with relevant technical training will also be considered.

• Occasional travel to customer sites may be required.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will be given priority consideration:

• Nickel, copper, gold, silver or tin plating

• PCB plating

• Electronics or semiconductor manufacturing

• Connector or metal finishing industries

• Surface treatment processes

• Electroplating bath analysis and chemical control

• Hull Cell testing

• Customer technical support or production troubleshooting
