Job summary

The Hongkong Electric Co., Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to support installation, commissioning, operation, repair and maintenance of all plants and equipment across the transmission and distribution networks. The role also involves supervising technicians and contractors, conducting system studies for HV networks up to 275 kV, and implementing improvement plans.

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with HV/Power System focus is preferred, with 5+ years of

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferably with major in High Voltage Engineering and/ or Power System Study.
A minimum of 5 years’ work experiences in electrical industry or 3 years' after completion of recognised graduate training.
Experience in operating SAP system and completed training courses on ISO 55001 standards and asset management anadvantage.
Holder of a valid driving licence for Class 1 and 2 vehicles.

Responsibilities

To assist in installation, commissioning, operation, repair and maintenance of all plants and equipment in the transmission and distribution (T&D) networks
To supervise technicians / tradesmen / contractors in operations, maintenance work and capital projects of T&D systems
To conduct system study, performance analysis, research and development on main plants and auxiliary systems as well as formulate and implement improvement plans in T&D networks from low voltage to 275 kV
To assist in review / preparation of test forms and working procedures
To perform operational duties beyond office hours as required
