Job summary

Selby Jennings is partnering with a leading Asia-focused financial institution to hire an ECM analyst. This role offers exposure to a lean execution platform with meaningful responsibility on live transactions and direct client exposure.

You will support end-to-end equity fundraising across Asian markets, collaborate with senior ECM professionals, and prepare materials for origination and execution. Fluency in English; Mandarin preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience within Equity Capital Markets or related advisory environment.
• Hands-on execution experience in live ECM transactions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English; Mandarin preferred due to regional role.
• Candidates from investment banks, securities firms, or other capital markets-focused institutions are encouraged to apply.
• Less than 2 years of experience might offer an Analyst title.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end delivery of equity fundraising transactions across Asian markets.
• Work alongside senior ECM professionals on active mandates, managing key workstreams throughout the transaction process.
• Coordinate with issuers, investors, legal advisers, accountants, and internal stakeholders during deal execution.
• Prepare transaction materials, investor-facing presentations, market updates, and analysis for both execution and origination activities.
• Monitor capital markets developments, investor sentiment, and sector trends to support strategic advice provided to clients.
• Contribute to the evaluation of potential fundraising opportunities and participate in client discussions where appropriate.
• Assist with transaction marketing efforts and execution logistics for public equity offerings.
