Job summary

Asia Progress Executive Limited is seeking an ECM Associate to join our Securities Brokerage team in Hong Kong. You will market and execute equity capital market transactions, including IPOs, placements and block trades, across Hong Kong and the Greater China region.

Requirements include a Bachelor in Finance/Economics/Business, 1–2 years of ECM or institutional sales experience, and fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

• 1–2 years of ECM experience or institution sales in IB or securities brokerage.
• Strong industry network and client base.
• Proven ECM execution experience and ability to deliver.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Market, syndication, execution and origination of ECM transactions including IPOs, placements, block trades and fund raising in HK/Greater China.
• Vet all ECM deals accepted by the company.
• Develop investor relationships and expand ECM team in HK.
• Coordinate with Institutional Sales and Corporate Finance.
• Lead full cycle origination, execution, and distribution of ECM and equity-linked transactions.
• Coordinate roadshows and NDRs to secure investors; assist in bookbuilding.

ECMAssociate ( Investment Banking /Securities Brokerage) - HK$30K-50K

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the marketing, syndication, execution and origination of equity capital market transactions including Initial Public Offerings (IPO), share placements, block trades and other fundraising activities in Hong Kong and Great China region

Responsible for the vetting of all equity capital market deals accepted by the Company

Acquire and develop professional investor business relationships

Business development and expansion plan of our ECM team in Hong Kong

Liaise and coordinate with Institutional Sales and Corporate Finance

Responsible for full cycle origination, execution, and distribution of ECM and equity-linked transactions, including but not limited to Initial Public Offerings (IPO), share placements, block trades and other fund raising activities in Hong Kong and Great China region

Perform transaction valuation and structuring, provide regulatory & financial advices

Coordinate with sales force to arrange NDRs and Roadshows to secure investors, assist in bookbuilding

Assist in other ad hoc project as assigned by management

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field

at 1-2 years of ECM exp/Institution sales in Investment banking or in Securities Brokerage firm

Strong industry experts and clients network

Demonstrate proven experience in ECM executions with high level of motivation and commitment to deliver

Good communication and presentation skills

Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
