Job summary

Arrow Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Coordinator in Hong Kong to oversee daily transportation activities, coordinate bookings, and ensure on-time delivery while aligning with import/export requirements and company policies.

You will interact with carriers, warehouses, customers, and internal teams, and contribute to cost control and process improvements within a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations.
• Experience coordinating domestic and international transportation activities.
• Familiarity with warehouse and distribution operations is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of transportation management and freight operations.
• Understanding of import/export procedures, shipping documentation, and customs requirements of Hong Kong/foreign countries.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other logistics systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding, customs clearance, and trade compliance.
• Experience in 3PL, e-commerce, manufacturing, or technology logistics environments.
• Professional certifications in logistics or supply chain management are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with carriers, warehouses, customers, and internal teams.
• Manage routing guide. Assist in shipping requests by processing shipping reports to set up and contact carriers for pickup.
• Coordinate daily transportation activities and shipments and arrange carrier bookings and monitor freight movements.
• Process minor shipping requests include redirecting freight, changing freight terms, etc.
• Ensure timely delivery and resolve transportation issues or delays.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documents and transportation records.
• Monitor transportation costs and support cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
