Fujian Highton Development Co., Ltd. seeks a Chartering Manager based in Hong Kong / Singapore to lead dry bulk chartering activities and coordinate with shipping partners. You will oversee import/export operations for coal, grain, ore and other goods, and drive revenue through effective market engagement.

The role requires strong negotiation, market analysis, contract execution, and teamwork with internal departments to implement chartering agreements and maintain industry relationships.

Qualifications

• Familiar with international dry bulk charter market and ability to explore markets and negotiate with stakeholders.
• Familiar with chartering and cargo solicitation negotiations, contract terms, execution and operational coordination.
• Familiar with shipping procedures, industry practices, and maritime regulations and law.
• Strong communication, with a customer-service mindset and good teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage dry bulk business, including import/export of coal, grain, ore, and other goods.
• Formulate chartering plans for full shiploads, conduct cost accounting and feasibility analysis for Handy/Supramax/Panamax vessels.
• Review, negotiate and sign chartering contracts with shipowners or cargo owners; coordinate with internal departments to implement contracts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with cargo owners, shipowners and brokers.
• Collect and analyze market information for dry bulk and general cargo shipping.

We are seeking Chartering Managers based in Hong Kong / Singapore.

Job Descriptions:

• Responsible for the development and management of dry bulk business, including the import and export of coal, grain, ore, and other goods
• Responsible for formulating chartering plans for full shiploads, conducting cost accounting, and feasibility analysis mainly for Handy/Supramax/Panamax vessels.
• Responsible for reviewing, negotiating, and signing chartering contracts with shipowners or cargo owners, and closely cooperating with various departments of the company to implement the contracts.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining resources related to cargo owners, shipowners, and brokers
• Collecting and analyzing market information for dry bulk and general cargo shipping.

Requirements:

• Familiar with the international dry bulk charter market; ability in market exploration and business negotiation with an understanding of the industry market.
• Familiar with chartering and cargo solicitation business negotiations, contract terms, execution, and operational coordination.
• Familiar with the operational procedures and industry practices of shipping, as well as relevant coastal maritime regulations and maritime law.
• Good at communication, with a strong sense of customer service and teamwork.
