Job summary

Samsonite Asia Limited in Hong Kong seeks a District Manager to lead multiple shops, drive sales and uphold Samsonite’s brand standards. You will partner with upper management, coach store managers, and shape customer experience across the district.

The role requires 6+ years in operation management with 4+ years as Store Manager/District Manager, excellent English and Cantonese, and strong leadership in a fast-paced retail environment. Hybrid scheduling may apply for business needs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or related field required.
• Minimum 6 years of solid operation management, including minimum 4 years experience as a Store Manager/Store Incharge or District Manager.
• Experience leading the district stores or managing a team of sales, the quality of customer service and the management of complaint handling.
• Good communication skills, well-organized, self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently.
• Detail-minded, willing to take up new tasks, self-motivated, strong numerical sense, multi-tasking and able to work independently.
• Proficient in PC skills including Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word).
• Good command in English, Cantonese, both written and spoken.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced and deadline‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple shops and motivate team through a compelling vision and direction to encompass Samsonite Group Core values.
• Form partnerships with upward management and key business partners.
• Act as a leader amongst peers in the field.
• Lead consistent store visit evaluations and provide proactive feedback.
• Communicate clear expectations and hold the store teams accountable to achieving all brand, performance and behavior standards.
• Conduct productive team meetings.
• Proactively seek personal learning and development opportunities.
• To improve the district branches’ quality of customer service, customer experience, service management, complaint handling and other related issues.
• To oversee the implementation of clearance sales/ pop up events including merchandise assortment, inventory control sales achievement and partner with Human Resources for staff recruitment & roster plan.
