Job summary

Jobtailor in Hong Kong seeks a commercially driven senior professional to lead and expand exchange relationships across APAC, spanning traditional stock exchanges and digital asset venues.

You will originate partnerships, structure listings, and coordinate with sales, legal, compliance, and product teams to bring deals to execution. This role requires 10+ years in capital markets, strong relationships in APAC, and fluency in English with Mandarin/Japanese as a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in capital markets, exchange relations, investment banking, or business development.
• Proven track record of originating and closing exchange partnerships, listings, or capital markets transactions.
• Senior relationships with at least one major traditional exchange and one major crypto exchange in APAC preferred.
• Deep understanding of market structure, listing requirements, and liquidity provision across TradFi and digital assets.
• Knowledge of APAC regulatory landscape for securities and digital assets and how it shapes partnerships.
• Strong executive presence and negotiation skills; comfortable with C-suite discussions.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA/CFA or equivalent is a plus.
• Fluency in English; Mandarin/Japanese or another regional language is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to travel frequently across APAC.

Responsibilities

• Lead and expand relationships across traditional stock exchanges and digital asset exchanges in APAC.
• Originate and structure new index listings, liquidity arrangements, and trading-venue partnerships.
• Represent the firm with exchange leadership, regulators, and cross-functional internal teams.
• Collaborate with commercial sales, legal, compliance, and product teams to execute deals.
