Job summary

KOS International Limited is recruiting a Manager, Technology & Operational Risk (Digital Banking) in Hong Kong for a leading digital bank. You will strengthen internal controls across technology and business processes, and drive practical improvements.

You will join a lean team with exposure to technology risk, operational controls, system development governance and process enhancement, with opportunities to step into a Manager role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, risk, finance or related field.
• 3–5 years in technology risk, IT audit or internal control.
• Experience reviewing technology controls and linking issues to business risk.
• Strong understanding of SDLC governance, testing and deployment controls.
• Experience assessing control effectiveness and documenting findings.
• Analytical thinker who asks questions and provides actionable advice.
• Familiarity with HKMA regulatory expectations is an advantage.
• Proactive, quick learner, and able to work independently.
• Interest in AI, workflow automation or data-driven improvements.
• Excellent English and Putonghua communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-based reviews of technology and operational processes.
• Assess control design and operating effectiveness with evidence.
• Review product governance and SDLC including requirements, specs, testing and deployment controls.
• Challenge unclear requirements and strengthen controls with stakeholders.
• Review incidents and assess root causes and other weaknesses.
• Recommend corrective actions and monitor remediation progress.
• Assist in risk and control self-assessments and key controls reviews.
• Explore automation and data analytics to improve risk management.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams on risk reporting and regulatory examinations.
