Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Ltd invites applications for an Officer – Depository Solutions & Transformation. The role supports daily depository operations, certificate handling, counter service, reconciliation, reporting and process improvement.

You will engage with stakeholders across markets, drive modernization through automation and data analytics, participate in BAU and project delivery, and contribute to regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Project Management, or related disciplines.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in securities operations, post-trade services, project management, business analysis or related regulated environments.
• Experience in business transformation, process improvement or system implementation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of strategic Depository initiatives including business analysis, requirement gathering, testing coordination, implementation and post-launch support.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, market participants, issuers, share registrars, vendors and regulators to facilitate project execution and business change activities.
• Support development and implementation of new operational processes including fee-related processes, market reforms and product enhancements.
• Support cross-asset class and emerging business opportunities through implementation, operational readiness, post-launch BAU support and control framework development.
• Perform impact assessments, process reviews, and business analysis to support new products, services and regulatory requirements.
• Drive modernization initiatives through process reengineering, digitization, automation, AI adoption and operational excellence projects.
• Prepare business proposals, presentations, management updates, operating procedures and market communications where required.
• Facilitate UAT, practice sessions and operational readiness activities for new projects and system enhancements.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, escalate issues for timely delivery.
• Undertake other ad hoc assignments as directed by management.
