Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Ltd seeks a Vice President – Depository Payment & Transformation to lead the newly formed Payment & Transformation team within Depository & Participant Services, driving strategic transformation, modernization and growth in HKEX’s evolving post-trade landscape. You will own key initiatives, oversee payment operations and market-facing programs across asset classes.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 8 years in a senior leadership/management role.
• Proven track record in transformation, modernization, or strategic change programs in financial services or market infrastructure.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Depository Payment & Transformation team with strategic direction and execution for transformation, modernization and growth initiatives.
• Drive post-implementation optimization including governance, testing, stakeholder coordination and continuous improvement.
• Own end-to-end payment and fee processes, including operations, exceptions handling and market implementation.
• Act as primary liaison with Share Registrars, regulators, market participants and external stakeholders on strategic initiatives.
• Lead major post-trade and cross-asset class projects ensuring alignment with business and market dynamics.
• Champion AI, digitalization, automation and process redesign across the function.
• Develop and maintain future-state operating models, governance, playbooks and control standards.
• Collaborate with business, technology, risk, compliance and operations to identify transformation opportunities and improve efficiency.
• Foster high-potential talent development, succession planning and knowledge transfer.
• Promote a culture of innovation, accountability and enterprise leadership to ensure resilience and scalability.
