Job summary

Wellcome in Hong Kong is seeking a Demand & Supply Planning Assistant Manager (Contract) to support inventory planning, daily replenishment, and forecast refinement in a fast-moving retail environment.

The role collaborates with Commercial, Warehouse, IT and project teams to ensure accuracy of forecasts, data integrity in ERP migration, and a smooth system transition. Degree in supply chain; 5 years exp; ERP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in demand or supply or inventory planning.
• Experience in retail or FMCG preferred.
• ERP transformation experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support senior manager to manage inventory planning and daily replenishment based on forecast, promotion schedule and display requirement.
• Analyze actual product demand, research demand drivers, seasonal demand, market situation, refine the forecast to reflect updated sales momentum, and adjust inventory plans for normal, festive, seasonal ranges accordingly.
• Coordinate with Commercial team to ensure sales forecast accuracy and align on new range, seasonal and promotion forecast.
• Support senior manager in enhancing cross-banner understanding in ERP transformation process and ensuring a seamless transition to the new ERP system.
• Participate in system testing and data validation to identify potential issues in data migration to ensure data integrity in the new ERP system.
• Support pre- and post-implementation activities to facilitate system knowledge transfer to the existing team and new users.
• Work closely with different internal departments, such as commercial, warehouse, IT & project teams to facilitate seamless implementation and execution of ERP transformation projects according to plan.
• Carry out other duties as required by the business.

The challenge is to:

Do you have experience in Demand & Supply Planning?

Degree holder, preferably in Supply Chain management or relevant discipline

Minimum 5 years of experience in Demand Planning / Supply Planning / Inventory Planning, preferably in Retail or FMCG

Experience in ERP transformation is a definite advantage

Detailed oriented and sensitive to figures, well organized and able to work independently

Strong leadership, analytical, root cause analysis and problem-solving skills

Self-motivated with positive attitude and mindset and willing to take challenging

Competent to work in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment which require multi-tasking skills, flexibility and adaptability

Strong Communication skill, fluent in Cantonese and English

Familiar with MS Excel and experience in Demand / Supply planning system is an advantage
