Practical expertise in database security hardening, user privilege control, encryption, audit logging, SSL/TLS database connections and remediating database CVEs and security vulnerabilities.
Performance tuning knowledge covering SQL execution plans, index maintenance, table space management, buffer pool tuning, replication health monitoring and backup/recovery validation for banking transactional workloads.
Demonstrated experience designing and executing post-upgrade application functional testing, as well as hands-on database rollback, point-in-time restoration and failure mitigation for interrupted or failure upgrade activities in production environment.
Hands-on Linux/Unix server administration, shell scripting and database native scripting (PL/SQL, SQL stored procedures) to automate pre/post patch validation checks, application sanity test scripts and rollback automation workflows.
