Job summary

APJ Hong Kong is seeking a Test Lead / Testing Manager for Banking projects. You will lead end-to-end UAT and system testing, including test planning, design, execution, defect management, progress tracking and go-live recommendations.

Collaborate with business users, project stakeholders and technical teams to ensure coverage and timely issue resolution. Prepare strategies, data and documentation in line with banking regulations. Fluent English and Cantonese are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in UAT, system testing, or test management within banking.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute end-to-end UAT and system testing for banking projects, including test planning, design, execution, defect management, progress tracking and go-live recommendations.

You will be involving…

Lead and execute end-to-end UAT and system testing activities for banking projects, including test planning, test case design, execution, defect management, progress tracking, reporting, and go-live recommendations.

Collaborate closely with business users, project stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure testing coverage, issue resolution, and successful project delivery.

Prepare test strategies, test scenarios, test data, and testing documentation in accordance with project requirements and banking regulations.

Identify, log, track, and retest defects, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project timelines.

Support project implementation activities and provide testing guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Monitor testing progress, analyze results, and provide regular status updates to management and project teams.

We are looking for…

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Proven experience in UAT, system testing, or test management within the banking industry is a must.

Strong knowledge of retail banking products, banking operations, FX/ investment services, and banking data processes.

Over 7 years of QA/testing experience in IT Application, with 3 years in QA leadership/manager roles, preferably in banking or financial services.

Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools.

Demonstrated ability to lead testing activities and coordinate with multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Fluent in both English and Cantonese is mandatory; Mandarin is an advantage.
