Job summary

Classy Wheeler Limited is seeking a Technical Services Manager to oversee Unix, Linux, and database administration within our enterprise banking environment in Hong Kong. You will lead system upgrades, security patching, DR exercises, and provide tier-three support to development teams and IT leadership.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in CS/IT and at least five years hands-on experience, with strong scripting, performance tuning, and regulatory compliance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Unix, Linux, and database administration within an enterprise setting.
• Deep technical proficiency in Linux or Unix operating systems, shell scripting, and relational database management systems.
• Strong understanding of IT security baselines, risk control procedures, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Proven track record in system troubleshooting, performance optimization, and vendor coordination.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills in written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities
