OOCL is seeking a senior data platform lead to drive end-to-end development, deployment and enhancement of a global data platform. You will integrate data from multiple sources, build models and ensure scalable databases and architectures, while delivering actionable insights for decision making.

The role requires at least 4 years of relevant experience, strong programming skills (Python/Java/Go), and expertise in MySQL, PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases.

Qualificações

• University degree in CS, Software Engineering, Data Science or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java or Go.
• Hands-on experience in developing data platforms and understanding SDLC.
• Strong knowledge of data processing, integration, analysis and batch computation.
• Solid experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL; NoSQL knowledge is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and teamwork.
• Proficient English; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end development and implementation of the data platform.
• Process and integrate data from multiple business sources.
• Perform in-depth data analysis and develop data models.
• Design, develop, optimize and maintain databases and storage.
• Continuously enhance the data platform with new features and fixes.
• Provide data support to business teams with ad hoc queries and reports.
