The ideal candidate has a track record building data warehouses and lakes on cloud platforms, and strong leadership within Agile environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS / data engineering or related field.
• Strong SQL and programming experience in Python/Scala/Java/R.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), data warehouses and data lakes.
• Data modeling and ETL/ELT pipelines; orchestration tools.
• At least 10 years of data engineering and data platform experience.
• Leadership experience with Agile/Scrum and cross-functional delivery.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Governance: lead data engineers, uphold data governance, drive ROI through data initiatives.
• Data Platform Architecture & Engineering: architect and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines; design data lakes and warehouses; ensure data quality and reliability.
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Operations: partner with BUs, IT, data scientists and analysts to translate needs into scalable specs; monitor performance and roadmap.
