Job summary

Chung Hing Engineers in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced maintenance supervisor to oversee on-site maintenance, repairs and improvements carried out by external contractors. You will monitor critical systems, supervise staff, and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery to data centre operations.

Responsibilities include alarm response, CAFM-based asset control, and progressive reporting on work progress. Cantonese fluency and a Green Card are required.

Qualifications

• Degree or Higher Diploma in building services engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or other relevant disciplines
• Fluent Cantonese and simple English
• Registered electrical Worker (Grade B preferred); Green Card
• Minimum 8 years of solid experience in UPS, STS, PDU, CRAC/CRAH, BMS and data centre MEP installations with 3 years supervisory

Responsibilities

• Assist the client in supervising on-site maintenance, repair and improvements by external contractors
• Ensure works are completed safely, on schedule, with good quality and without impact to data centre operations
• Monitor day-to-day operation of critical systems (UPS, STS, PDU, CRAC/CRAH, BMS)
• Supervise on-site technical staff, perform inspections, report alarms or abnormalities
• Respond to alarms or emergencies, identify causes, assess urgency, and escalate as needed
• Manage work orders, assets and inventory via the CAFM system
• Take the lead in repair/maintenance works and provide progress updates
• Working hours: 09:00 - 18:00, 44 hours per week, including Sat and Sun
