Our client is a global provider of essential infrastructure that owns, develops, and manages high-quality, sustainable data centers in major global cities. Their global power bank of 5.0 GW includes completed data center facilities, secured power, and potential data center projects.

Role Purpose

The Site Manager/Director will oversee the Data Center Campus Team and own the full management and performance of a state-of-the-art data center campus, driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Compliance

Drive the success and performance of a sustainable, state-of-the-art data center campus, working with your team and vendors to deliver best-in-class operations

Ensure data center operations comply with global standards, local regulations, internal policies, and training requirements

Respond to site callouts outside of office hours (approximately every three weeks)

Leadership & Coordination

Lead the local site team, providing direction, coaching, and development

Coordinate closely with regional and global teams to align operations with company-wide strategy and standards

Maintain strong supplier and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) relationships

Manage external suppliers and service providers to ensure service quality and value

Oversee Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) performance for the campus

Oversee and manage the P&L for the campus, driving operational efficiency and financial performance

Customer Management

Own and run all customer-relevant reporting and meetings

Ensure customer processes are fully integrated into site workflows

Ensure customer satisfaction and drive continuous improvement at all stages of the customer journey

Serve as the focal point for local clients, supporting and resolving any queries in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

Minimum 10+ years of data center operations experience with global clients

Proven experience operating a data center of more than 20 MW

Technical degree, with strong technical and management skills

Proven people leader with passion and commitment to developing teams

Excellent communication skills in the local language and English

Skilled at handling critical situations and making decisions under pressure

Experience managing external suppliers and services

Highly passionate and self-motivated, with a strong ownership mindset
