Job summary

Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited seeks a Senior Customer Analytics & Data Science Manager to lead AI-driven analytics for the personal banking business. Qualifications

• 4 years' experience in analytics, modelling and ML/AI, at least 1 year in a managerial role.
• Banking, Financial Services or FinTech experience preferred.
• Embedding techniques, RAG, promptings and LLM fine-tuning knowledge.
• Experience with ML/Generative AI risk and governance is a plus.
• A mature self-starter with strong business sense and personal banking understanding.
• Excellent English and Chinese; Mandarin is an advantage.

(Senior) Customer Analytics & Data Science Manager (Modeling)

Explore and create strategic solutions and actionable recommendations for the personal banking business by leveraging emerging AI technologies (e.g. Generative & Agentic AI, Reinforcement Learning, Machine Learning)

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions

Develop and refine AI models to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements

Identify and evaluate suitable AI vendors for specific use cases, managing escalations to ensure deliverables and timelines are met with excellence.

Proactively identify new business opportunities and targeting strategies powered by AI technology advancements

Highly sensitive to the latest AI trend

Requirements:

Degree or above with major in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems or related discipline

4 years' experience relating to analytics, modelling and machine learning/AI/Generative AI, at least 1 years of which at managerial level

Experience in Banking, Financial Services or FinTech industry preferred

Experience and knowledge in embedding techniques, RAG, promptings and LLM fine-tuning, involvement in search engine or recommendation system is a plus

Experience in machine learning model/AI/Generative AI related risk and control governance is a plus

A mature self-starter with strong drive, motivation, committed with good business sense and strong understanding of the personal banking market

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with excellent written and spoken English and Chinese, knowledge of Mandarin would be a definite advantage
