Job summary

Osmium Consulting Group Limited is seeking an executive-level engineering leader to own the platform's technical direction end-to-end, including real-time messaging, CRM-as-system-of-record, and AI orchestration.

You will guide architecture, lead a distributed engineering team, and collaborate with GTM and Product to align technical decisions with business outcomes. This role emphasizes production AI experience, reliability, and enterprise-scale growth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience with managerial experience and ownership of technical direction as final decision-maker.
• Product and commercial mindset: connect technical decisions to business outcomes and collaborate with GTM and Product.
• Hands-on architect: deep in system design, guiding engineers through architecture and brainstorming.
• Production AI experience: built AI and shipped LLM/agentic systems, focusing on evals, reliability, and guardrails.
• Experience scaling distributed engineering teams across locations.
• Experience growing a company into enterprise-grade reliability, security, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision and architecture for the platform end-to-end, including multi-channel real-time messaging and CRM-as-system-of-record.
• Stay hands-on with architecture and guide engineers through design and deep-dives.
• Be the buck-stops-here owner of technical direction and push back when needed.
• Drive AI roadmap and ship production-ready AI systems with reliability and guardrails.
• Connect engineering to business outcomes and collaborate with GTM and Product.
• Lead and retain a high-performing distributed engineering org with autonomous squads.
• Scale architecture for reliability, security, and performance at scale.
