Job summary

Octopus Holdings Limited is seeking a senior leader to manage a team of software engineers and drive AI-enabled SDLC across back-end systems. You will oversee project delivery, governance, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure secure, high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes leadership, hands-on AI practices, and strengthening Agile delivery while maintaining strong communication with customers and partners in a fast-paced FinTech environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in CS / IS / CE or equivalent.
• 12+ years in system development, PM and IT ops; 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience with payment, rewards, settlement and Oracle ERP Finance modules is a plus.
• Hands-on AI tools or AI-assisted SDLC experience preferred.
• Experience with Oracle, Web services, MQ, AWS and Azure; familiarity with AI tools and LLMs.
• Proven track record with external customers and managing large projects.
• Strong knowledge of modern PM methodologies and faster time to market.
• Strong Java and Spring background; excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a team of software engineers for internal and external customers.
• Coach and develop technical staff to apply AI tools in SDLC.
• Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement; enforce policies.
• Support career development and policy compliance.
• Lead technical development and delivery for Octopus back-end systems; manage scope, milestones and resources.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, deployment; manage stakeholders and vendors for timely decisions.
• Oversee end-to-end SDLC with metrics and quality gates; ensure security and quality.
• Promote Agile, coding standards, testing automation, CI/CD and production readiness.
• Identify and implement practical AI use cases across requirements, design, coding, testing and ops.
