Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Treasury professional in Hong Kong to reconcile daily settlement bank movements and design automated systems to improve treasury operations. The role involves close collaboration with product and finance teams to optimize funding processes and mitigate risks through integrated control measures.

The ideal candidate holds a Finance/Accounting/Business degree with 3+ years of treasury experience in regulated financial services, strong Excel skills, and proficiency in English

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent.
• 3+ years of Treasury experience in financial services, preferably regulated environments.
• Experience with Tableau and SQL (or equivalent).
• Strong Excel skills.
• Good command of English and Chinese.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
• Strong work ethic and ability to be productive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile daily settlement bank movements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Design and implement automated systems and processes to enhance Treasury operations.
• Collaborate closely with product and finance teams to optimize and streamline funding processes.
• Integrate risk management and control processes into daily responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risks, escalating issues as necessary.
• Manage regional positions, including daily safeguarding, rebalancing, short-term funding strategies, and foreign exchange execution.
• Ensure compliance with different safeguarding requirements.
• Assist in audit and compliance reviews.
