Job summary

Korea Development Bank Hong Kong Branch is seeking a senior risk management professional to support the operation of risk and control functions in Hong Kong. You will liaise with headquarter and local teams on risk, accounting, IT and related back-office matters, ensuring compliance with HKMA guidelines.

Ideal candidates have native Korean, fluent English, strong Excel skills, and at least 8 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

Native Korean language; fluent written & spoken English; Chinese knowledge is a plus.
Minimum 8 years of work experience in a relevant position; position level adjustable based on experience.
FRM and/or HKMA ECF risk management qualifications are highly preferred.
Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
Basic to intermediate level of accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

Assist to streamline the operation of risk management and other planning, accounting and audit matters.
Support communication with headquarter and local employees regarding middle/back office issues such as risk management, accounting, IT, etc.
Support internal risk management (including IT risk if possible) and assist the implementation of HKMA’s regulations.
Reviewing and updating management information reports.
Coordinate periodic Risk Management Committee meetings with headquarter and local management.
Writing periodic business performance reports.
Respond to various requests from headquarter or external regulatory agencies.
Support any ad hoc task or project assigned by reporting manager and/or management.
