Job summary

The Bank of East Asia, Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Risk Management professional to collaborate with risk functions under the Enterprise Risk Management framework, compiling risk data and identifying significant issues.

You will perform risk analysis, support appetite oversight, prepare presentation decks for the Group Chief Risk Officer, and produce risk management reports for Management Committees and the Board. Fluent English and Chinese are required.

Qualifications

• University graduate, preferably major in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance, or related disciplines.
• Ideally 3–5 years of experience in banking/finance with hands-on experience in handling projects and preparing management reports in relation to risk management. HKIB qualification is an advantage.
• Independent, able to work under pressure, detail oriented and with good sense of responsibility.
• Highly developed interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
• Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint, Excel and Word)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and liaise with relevant risk functions under the Bank’s Enterprise Risk Management framework to compile the risk data and identify the significant risk-related issues
• Perform riskanalysis on the significant risk-related issues and support the Department Headon risk appetite oversight
• Prepare presentation deck to provide a holistic overview to the Group Chief Risk Officer
• Prepare risk management reports to Management Committees and the Board of Directors
• Conduct regular review of Group Risk Management Policy and coordinate with risk controllers for any necessary changes to ensure alignment with the changing business environment and the latest supervisory policy manual / regulatory requirements
• Participate in ad-hoc risk-related projects of Risk Management Division
