Job summary

HKBN is seeking a Senior Officer/Assistant Manager - Credit Control to lead a small team and oversee daily AR operations, reconciliations, and credit management.

You will collaborate with Finance, Customer Service and Sales to ensure timely settlements, monitor ECL, and prepare monthly reports. The role requires 7–8 years in credit management and strong communication in a fast-paced telecom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 7–8 years of related experience in Credit Management.
• Experience supervising a small team.
• Proficient in financial reconciliation, including bad debt and customer payments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong coordination and negotiation with payment service providers.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in financial data analysis.
• Adaptable to fast-paced environment.
• Less experience will be considered as Senior Officer - Credit Control.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small team.
• Oversee resolution of daily operational issues by the team.
• Handle the preparation of bad debt and customer payments reconciliation.
• Collaborate and liaise with the Finance, Customer Service, and Sales teams regarding outstanding accounts receivable to ensure timely settlement.
• Monitor weekly cash balance and Expected Credit Loss (ECL) and taking necessary actions to reduce ECL.
• Compile monthly reports for management review.
• Coordinate with payment service providers for implementation purposes.
