Job summary

Smith is hiring a Credit Controller in Hong Kong to manage accounts receivable, review daily credit and order releases, and ensure timely collections. The role requires 2+ years in credit control, strong analytical skills, and the ability to liaise with internal departments to mitigate risk.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma or higher in Accounting or Finance, proficient MS Office tools, and immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in Credit Control in electronics or MNC.
• Ability to analyze financial statements and credit reports.

Responsibilities

• Create new and update existing accounts.
• Support daily Credit review and Order release.
• Handle cash receipts and AR settlement.
• Prepare and Analyze AR Aging and DSO report.
• Communicate with other departments and management to alert high-risk situations.
• Negotiate with customers to expedite collection efforts in a customer-centric manner.
• Evaluate new account applications and establish credit parameters to control credit risk.
• Assist Credit Manager to support daily operation and ad-hoc assignments.

Essential Job Duties

• Create new and update existing accounts

Competencies

Experience
2 year experiences or above preferably in Credit Control of electronic industry or MNC
Ability to analyze financial statements and review Credit report

Education

• Diploma or above in Accounting or Finance discipline or equivalent experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Credit Review
