Job summary

Bulk Barn Foods Limited is seeking a Corporate Store Supervisor II in Hong Kong to support the Corporate Store Manager and retail team. The role focuses on leading day-to-day operations, improving efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction, while upholding workplace wellness and safety.

You will supervise opening/closing, manage labour, maintain store standards and drive excellent service, with emphasis on teamwork and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Food Safe certification is an asset.
• Standard First Aid certification is an asset.
• 3 years of retail experience preferred (food retail asset).
• 2–3 years of experience under pressure, multi-tasking and time management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• 2–3 years’ experience leading and supervising a team.
• Experience handling confidential information.
• 2–3 years’ experience servicing and resolving customer concerns.
• Ability to exercise flexibility, initiative, good judgement and discretion.
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
• Positive and customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures including alarms, tills, deposits.
• Operate the cash register and POS functions; ensure honest, efficient transactions.
• Restock shelves and displays; manage orders and expiry dates.
• Submit daily/weekly paperwork to Corporate Office.
• Manage labour and create weekly schedules to fit staffing models.
• Coach and motivate staff; recognize trends and performance issues.
• Lead and assist staff in daily tasks; maintain safe, healthy work environment.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and merchandising.
