Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited invites applications for Contract Systems Analyst to support the DEVB(WB) network Infrastructure in Admiralty, HK. The role covers operation and maintenance of network infrastructure, security devices, VPN, and related systems under a 2-month contract.

The incumbent will join InfoTech's headcount to deliver continuous IT services. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or higher, 9+ years post-qualification experience with 7+ years relevant, and CCNP/H3CNE

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
• At least 9 years' post-qualification experience, with at least 7 years in a similar post.
• CCNP or H3CNE certification.
• Well-versed in H3C network routers and switches configuration.
• Experience in administration of network and security equipment.

Responsibilities

• Administer the operation of network equipment and security devices in data centres.
• Provide technical support on the network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPN and SIEM.
• Rectify problems relating to the network infrastructure.
• Carry out network reconfiguration in response to change requests.
• Responsible for IT-related procurement.
• Carry out IT project related tasks and IT system maintenance/support tasks as assigned by ITMU of DEVB(WB).
• Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount.

Project Nature (T26) Maintain and support the network infrastructure of DEVB(WB), including network and security equipment and virtual private network.

Duties

• Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DEVB;
• Administer the operation of network equipment and security devices in data centres;
• Provide technical support on the network infrastructure, including network routers, access switches, firewalls, anti-virus system, Metro-Ethernet, Virtual Private Network and Security Information and Event Management System, etc;
• Rectify problems relating to the network infrastructure;
• Carry out network reconfiguration in response to change requests;
• Responsible for IT related procurement;
• Perform over-time work outside office hours or on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays occasionally; and
• Carry out any other IT project related tasks and IT system maintenance/support tasks as assigned by ITMU of DEVB(WB).

Requirements

• well-versed in H3C network routers and switches configuration;
• knowledge and experience in administration of network and security equipment; and
• possession of certificate of Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or H3C Certified Network Engineer (H3CNE).
• Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
• At least 9 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 7 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.

Technical Skills

• At least 7 years' experience in Metro Ethernet (MET);
• At least 7 years' experience in Router Configuration (ROU);
• At least 3 years' experience in Virtual Private Network (VPN);
• 3 years' experience in Anti-Virus Technology (AVT) is an advantage.

Non-technical Skills

• At least 7 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
• At least 5 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS);
• At least 3 years' experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD).
