Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited seeks a Contract Systems Analyst for a 3-month assignment in Hong Kong (Sheung Wan/Admiralty/Wanchai) to support the DOJ project.

You will manage mobile devices with MDM, oversee the rollout of the CMMP, perform testing and acceptance, provide on-site helpdesk support, and ensure IT security and smooth system deployment.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting Microsoft Active Directory (4+ years)
• Experience in supporting wireless and mobile devices (4+ years)
• Experience in supporting mobile device management systems (3+ years)
• Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in Computer Science or IT

Responsibilities

• Manage mobile devices with the aid of Mobile Device Management (MDM) system and coordinate mobile device software upgrade
• Perform daily operations and upgrade for the MDM system
• Provide technical advice and devise system and installation standards
• Prepare and conduct system testing and user acceptance
• Provide telephone and on-site helpdesk services to end-users, and trouble-shoot problems on PCs and computer equipment
• Lead and guide junior officers on end-user and system support
• Implement IT security measures
• Evaluate hardware and software products, implement and support new projects
• Perform and coordinate new service rollout

Project Nature (T26)

• Mobile device deployment, management and support;
• Rollout and support of Centrally Managed Messaging Platform (CMMP);
• Technical and feasibility study, system installation and acceptance testing of IT systems;
• Technical support of network infrastructure, servers, mobile devices and PCs.

Duties

• Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DOJ;
• Manage mobile devices with the aid of Mobile Device Management (MDM) system and coordinate mobile device software upgrade;
• Perform daily operations and upgrade for the MDM system;
• Provide technical advice and devise system and installation standards;
• Prepare and conduct system testing and user acceptance;
• Provide telephone and on-site helpdesk services to end-users, and trouble-shoot problems on PCs and computer equipment;
• Diagnose PC hardware and software problems, provide solutions and arrange for follow-up action with vendors as appropriate;
• Implement IT security measures;
• Evaluate hardware and software products, implement and support new projects;
• Perform and coordinate new service rollout;
• Lead and provide guidance to junior officers on end-user and system support;
• Perform technical support and system maintenance tasks including software installation, configuration setting, tuning, troubleshooting, fire-fighting, problem handling, health check, backup and recovery; and
• Perform any other computer-related and administrative duties assigned by senior officers.

Requirements

• At least 4 years' experience in supporting Microsoft Active Directory;
• At least 4 years' experience in supporting wireless and mobile;
• At least 3 years' experience in supporting mobile device management system.

Additional Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified System Engineer; or
• Cisco Certified Network Associate.

Technical Skills

• . At least 4 years' experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration (ADA);
• . At least 4 years' experience in PC LAN Support (PLS);
• . At least 4 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT);
• . At least 4 years' experience in Windows 7/8/10 (W10);

• . 2 years' experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12) is an advantage;
• . 1 year's experience in Virtual Private Network (VPN) is an advantage;
• . 1 year's experience in Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) is an advantage;
• . 1 year's experience in Lotus Notes Mail Admin. & Technical Support (LNM) is an advantage;
• . 1 year's experience in Network & System Management (NSM) is an advantage;
• . 1 year's experience in Router Configuration (ROU) is an advantage;
• . 1 year's experience in Anti-Virus Technology (AVT) is an advantage.

Non-technical Skills

• . At least 4 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
• . At least 2 years' experience in customer relations (ECR);
• Good spoken English is a must;
• Good written English is an advantage;
• 1.5 years' experience in site preparation (SPE) is an advantage;
• Good coordination skills is an advantage;
• 1.5 years' experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT) is an advantage.

Qualifications

• - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
• - At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
