Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited invites applications for a Contract Systems Analyst to support the FEHD. The role is a full-time contract based in Wan Chai and other FEHD offices in HK, KLN and NT.

You will analyse requirements, design and maintain web apps, manage databases, and help with AI-enabled development. Minimum four years IT experience, with at least one year in a similar post, are required; Cantonese and English language skills are needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years post-qualification IT experience, with at least 1 year in a similar post.
• Experience in web application development using .NET stack and SQL Server.
• Desirable knowledge of AI capabilities and AI coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyse user requirements, conduct feasibility studies, and formulate technical solutions.
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain web applications, including architecture design, testing oversight, and documentation.
• Manage and enhance existing web applications and infrastructure.
• Oversee database architecture, setup, and administration.
• Manage server maintenance, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Assist supervisor in staff management.

Project Nature (T26) Ongoing Application System Maintenance and Support of Systems in CFS of FEHD

Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the FEHD;

• (a) To analyse user requirements, conduct feasibility studies, and formulate technical solutions;
• (b) To design, develop, implement, and maintain web application systems, including system architecture design, testing oversight, and technical documentation;
• (c) To manage and enhance existing web applications and infrastructure;
• (d) To oversee database architecture, setup, and administration;
• (e) To manage server maintenance, system capacity planning, and performance tuning; and
• (f) To assist supervisor in staff management.

Requirements:

• -Hands-on experience in web application development using .NET, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3;
• -Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), UI/UX design principles, and design patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM); and
• -Solid experience in database architecture, schema setup, SQL stored procedure writing, and query performance tuning on MS SQL Server.

Years of IT Experience: At least four (4) years’ post-qualification IT experience of which one (1) year must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity

Working hours: Normal office hours

Others: Knowledge and experience in building applications that incorporate AI capabilities; and utilizing AI coding tools and LLM agents to accelerate development, automate code generation and improve code quality, are desirable
