Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited is recruiting a Contract Systems Analyst to support IT system projects for government departments in Hong Kong. The role requires on-site work across HK locations, with a 3-month contract period from 1 Nov 2026 to 31 Jan 2027.

Candidate should have strong skills in web-based systems, JSF, Oracle RDBMS, PHP and JavaScript, plus relevant government project experience. You will be responsible for project planning, system analysis, design, testing, documentation

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in development, implementation and support of web-based application systems.
• Experience with JavaServer Faces (JSF) and Oracle RDBMS is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in PHP and JavaScript, with strong testing and documentation skills.
• Experience in project development in government or related sectors is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Project planning and monitoring for internet and departmental web applications.
• Perform system analysis and design and supervise programmers.
• Develop programs and conduct system and load testing.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and provide on-site support as needed.
• Produce documentation and provide ongoing maintenance and upgrades.

Project Nature (T26) IT system projects feasibility study, development, implementation, maintenance and support.

Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DOJ;

• (a) Project planning and monitoring for Internet, internal and inter-departmental web applications;
• (b) Perform system analysis and design;
• (c) Supervise sub-ordinate programmers;
• (d) Develop programs;
• (e) Conduct various system tests and load test;
• (f) Perform system connectivity tests with other government bureaux/departments;
• (g) Produce and maintain documentation;
• (h) Assist users to conduct user acceptance test;
• (i) Conduct user training;
• (j) Provide maintenance, on-going support and upgrade for IT systems; and
• (k) Perform any other duties (e.g. on-call support duty during non-office hours, weekends and public holidays) as may be required from time to time relevant to the implementation and maintenance support of the above and any other systems of the department.

Requirements

• (a) Knowledge and experience in development, implementation and support of web-based application system.
• (b) Knowledge in system interface with Consented Data Exchange Gateway of DPO would be an advantage;
• (c) Any other duties which may be assigned for implementation of the project.
• (d) It is required to render on-site support services at user offices scattered at various locations in Hong Kong.
• Technical Skills:
  • . At least 7 years' experience in JavaServer Faces (JSF) (JSF);
  • . At least 7 years' experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB);
  • . At least 7 years' experience in PHP programming (PHP);
  • . At least 5 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP);
  • . At least 3 years' experience in Wireless and Mobile (WLM).
• Non-technical Skills:
  • . At least 5 years' experience in project development in specified business areas (PDE);
  • . At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV).
• - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
• - At least 7 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
