Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Contract Systems Analyst to support government AI initiatives and Wi‑Fi projects. The role is based in Wan Chai with occasional location shifts as directed by DPO.

The incumbent will oversee supercomputing centre operations, coordinate AI deployment, and manage related consultancy studies. Strong IT background and bilingual skills in Chinese and English are essential.

Project Nature (T26) Support the Government in developing the artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem in Hong Kong, and implementing Wi-Fi related services.

Duties

• Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO;
• To support the oversight of the operation and further development of dedicated organisation's supercomputing centre(s);
• To support the deployment of AI agents or other AI applications related to supercomputing centre(s), including undertaking project management duties, providing support in the desktop research and promotional activities, etc.;
• To support the monitoring of the implementation of the AI Subsidy Scheme, Incubation Programme for Smart Living Start-ups and Government-sponsored AI R&D projects;
• To support and coordinate the consultancy study relating to the development of AI including monitoring and guiding the consulting work, quality checking of the deliverables, etc.;
• To provide general support and technical advice to ICT industry;
• To support Wi‑Fi related duties; and
• To perform other duties assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Experience in technology consulting and project management;
• Good knowledge in AI and other emerging technologies, e.g. GPU (or other AI acceleration chips), supercomputing, machine learning framework, deep learning, AI agent orchestration, Model as a Service (MaaS), cloud services, big data, FinTech, Internet of Things, information security, augmented reality, virtual reality, etc. is preferable;
• Preferable to have experience in IT projects involving security risk assessment and analysis, outsourcing, full system development life cycle;
• Preferable to have knowledge and/or experience in hands-on system development and AI agent deployment involving solution architecture design and API development;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Good command in written Chinese and English;
• Good command in verbal communications in Cantonese, Putonghua and English;
• Working on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays is occasionally required on request; and
• Good knowledge of Wi‑Fi technology, is preferable.

Technical Skills

• At least 1 year's experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM);
• At least 1 year's experience in IT Planning (ITP);
• At least 1 year's experience in IT Security (ITS);
• 1 year's experience in Networking (NET) is an advantage;
• 1 year's experience in Project Management Professional (PMP) (PMP) is an advantage;
• 1 year's experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM) is an advantage;
• 1 year's experience in Wireless Technology (WLT) is an advantage.

Non-technical Skills

• Good coordination skills is a must;
• At least 1 year's experience in project management (PRM);
• At least 1 year's experience in software testing (STM);
• At least 1 year's experience in vendor management (VMG);
• 1 year's experience in IT advisory and promotion, e.g. exhibition, publication (APR) is an advantage;
• 1 year's experience in IT Service Management (SMG) is an advantage;
• 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage;
• 1 year's experience in managing Government projects (MGP) is an advantage.

• Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
• At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
