Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Contract Senior Systems Analyst for a 3-month assignment (Bid Ref 61306-1). The position is based at HAHQ, Ho Man Tin, Kowloon, with responsibilities across analysis, design, quality assurance and system support.

Required are 5+ years as a Systems Analyst and 8+ years in IT, with strong Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JasperReports, Oracle DB, and vendor management experience. Excellent English communication and coordination skills are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years as a Systems Analyst with 8+ years IT experience.
• Experience in web application development and with Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate).
• Bachelor's degree or higher diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Involve in IT activities including cost/effort estimation, requirements collection, system design, QA, support and enhancements.
• Liaise with end users and IT teams for project implementation and maintenance.
• Assist project manager in project management, contract administration and vendor coordination.
• Perform related administrative duties as required.

Project Nature (T26) Development, maintenance and support of IT application systems in HK Housing Authority

Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the HD;

• 1. to involve in IT activities, including cost and effort estimation, impact analysis, user requirements collection, system analysis and design, quality assurance, system support and problem diagnosis and enhancements in both system enhancement and maintenance cycles;
• 2. To liaise with end users and internal IT support teams for project implementation and maintenance support services;
• 3. To assist the project manager in project management, contract administration and managing outsoured services, and;
• 4. To perform other administrative activities as when required.

Requirements 1. At least 5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst and 8 years of experience in IT;

• 2. Solid experience in web application development;
• 3. Solid experience in Spring, Hibernate, JasperReports, Design Pattern, and Oracle Database;
• 4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in business and technical aspects;
• 5. Strong experience in application support and system maintenance;
• 6. Have experience in vendor management;
• 7. Have experience in liaison and coordination with users and other infrastructure support teams;
• 8. Practical communication skills and good interpersonal skills;
• 9. Works under minimal supervision and performs duties independently;
• 10. Have experience in Knowledge Managment Technology; and
• 11. Have experience in managing Government projects is preferred.

Technical Skills:
