Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a CPM to manage the Government Central Gateway (GCG) for GETS. You will supervise a team providing 7x24 on-call support and ensure system integrity, documentation, and patch management are maintained for mission-critical government IT operations.

The ideal candidate has strong project management skills, hands-on experience with security risk assessments, audits, DR drills, and cross-vendor coordination in a government environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
• 8+ years post-qualification experience with 2+ years in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to provide 7x24 on-call support for GCG and GETS operating system.
• Supervise maintenance and enhancements of GCG application system and keep documentation updated.
• Manage routine tasks: DR drills, security incident handling, security risk audits, privacy impact audits.
• Oversee patch management for applications and OS, including Linux and Windows servers.
• Advise on backup methods and coordinate data transfer during GETS transition to Trade Single Window.
• Coordinate with GETS service providers and backend support teams on operational issues.

Project Nature (T26) This is a CPM position to manage the Government Central Gateway (GCG) of Government Electronic Trading Services (GETS).

Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO; The major job duties include but are not limited to the following:

• to manage the team to provide 7x24 on-call support for the application of GCG and operating system for the commissioning of the GCG;
• to supervise the maintenance and enhancements of GCG application system and ensure the program specifications and other documentation are consistently updated;
• to manage the team for the routine tasks, such as Disaster Recovery Drill, Information Security Incident Handling Drill, Security Risk Assessment & Audit and Privacy Impact Assessment & Audit;
• to supervise the team to apply security patches of applications and operation systems, including Linux, Windows server and Windows 10/11;
• to provide advisory on the optimum backup methodology and supervise the team in backing up and transferring GCG data to other Government B/D during transition of GETS to Trade Single Window;
• to liaise with GETS Service Providers and GETS Government backend system support teams on operational issues of GETS; and
• to perform the tasks assigned by the line manager.

Requirements - Require good project management and technical consultancy skills; Require solid hands-on experience in managing large scale IT system; Require solid hands-on experience in Security Risk Assessment & Audit and Privacy Impact Assessment & Audit; Require solid hands-on experience in patch management; It is preferably with exposure in mission critical Government IT systems; and Require solid hands-on experience in technical skills required.

• At least 3 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM);
• At least 2 years' experience in Multi-vendor Mission Critical System (MCS);
• At least 2 years' experience in Security Incident Detection and Handling (SDH);
• At least 2 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL);
• At least 1 year's experience in Data/File Backup Technology (DFT);
• 2 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV) is an advantage;
• 2 years' experience in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting (ULS) is an advantage.

Non-technical Skills:

• At least 2 years' experience in project management (PRM);
• 1 year's experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage.

- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;

- At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
