Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a contract IT specialist to support HYAB operations in a full-time capacity for a 3-month period. Responsibilities include system testing, PPO support, IT equipment administration, network infrastructure, and helpdesk services.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in application development, software package implementation, and data exchange, with strong English and Chinese communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma in Computer Science or IT.
• At least 6 years' post-qualification experience, with ≥3 years in a similar post.

Responsibilities

• Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time to support HYAB.
• Assist on system testing and ongoing support for Project Planning Office (PPO).
• Assist IT equipment/data exchange, administration and maintenance for PPO.
• Provide technical support on network infrastructure.
• Provide general PC support and IT helpdesk services.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Project Nature (T26) This project is to implement IT system / services to support HYAB and the remote office.

Duties

• Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the HYAB;
• To assist on system testing and on-going support for Project Planning Office (PPO).
• To assist IT equipment/data exchange, administration and maintenance for PPO.
• To provide technical support on network infrastructure.
• To provide general PC support and IT helpdesk services.
• To perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Solid hands-on experience in application development and software package implementation.
• Knowledgeable in supporting data exchange and administration.
• Solid hands-on experience in IT helpdesk support.
• Good written English and Chinese.

Technical Skills

• At least 6 years' experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration (ADA);
• At least 6 years' experience in PC LAN Support (PLS);
• At least 5 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM);
• At least 5 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM);
• At least 5 years' experience in IT Security (ITS);
• At least 5 years' experience in Networking (NET).

Non-technical Skills

• At least 6 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
• At least 6 years' experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT);
• At least 3 years' experience in IT procurement (PRO);
• At least 3 years' experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD);
• Good coordination skills is a must.

Other

• Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
• At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
