Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited, based in Sheung Wan, seeks a Contract Systems Analyst for IT system projects. The contractor will assist with planning, analysis, testing and documentation, reporting to the DOJ team, and providing on-site support across HK offices.

Qualifications

• On-site support across multiple HK offices required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project planning, monitoring and control.
• Perform system analysis and design for web-based apps.
• Supervise programmers and develop programs.
• Conduct unit, system, load and security testing as needed.
• Maintain documentation and support user acceptance testing.
• Provide user training and ongoing maintenance for legal case systems.
• Handle helpdesk/support duties during non-office hours as needed.

Project Nature (T26) IT system projects feasibility study, development, implementation, maintenance and support.

Duties

• Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DOJ;


• (a) Assist in project planning and monitoring;


• (b) Perform system analysis and design;


• (c) Supervise sub-ordinate programmers;


• (d) Develop programs;


• (e) Conduct program unit test, system test, load test and other tests (e.g. security) as required;


• (f) Produce and maintain documentation;


• (g) Assist users to conduct user acceptance test;


• (h) Conduct user training;


• (i) Provide maintenance and on-going support of legal case managements; and


• (j) Perform any other duties (e.g. helpdesk, on-call support duty during non-office hours, weekends and public holidays) as may be required from time to time relevant to the implementation and maintenance support of the above and any other systems of the department.

Requirements

• (a) Knowledge and experience in development, implementation and support of web-based application system.


• (b) Experiences and/or knowledge in Government legal case workflow system would be an advantage.


• (c) Any other duties which may be assigned for implementation of the project.


• (d) It is required to render on-site support services at user offices scattered at various locations in Hong Kong.

Technical Skills:

• At least 7 years' experience in Data Management (DMT);


• At least 7 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP);


• At least 7 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV);


• At least 7 years' experience in J2EE Development (JDE);


• At least 7 years' experience in Web Hosting, Design and Maintenance (WED);


• At least 7 years' experience in XML (XML).

Non-technical Skills:

• At least 6 years' experience in software testing (STM);


• At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);


• At least 3 years' experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT).

• - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;


• - At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
