Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Contract Systems Analyst to support the LCSD project, focusing on library system implementations and IT infrastructure enhancements. Project Nature (T26) Provide technical support for system infrastructure in the implementation and enhancement of library systems including Next Generation Integrated Library System (NGILS) and Smart Library System (SLS)
Provide project management, technical evaluation and implementation services

Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LCSD;

• Participate in planning, evaluation, management and acceptance for the implementation of new and upgrade projects
• Provide production support for Linux and Microsoft Windows server platforms
• Provide production support for system monitoring tools and password management software
• Liaise with users and vendors for requirement studies, implementation, and support activities
• Prepare technical specifications and evaluations for new or upgrade projects
• Perform technical troubleshooting
• Participate in IT security assessments and audit exercises
• Provide on-call technical support and perform other duties as required
• Work irregular hours if necessary

Requirements

• At least 3 years of working experience in project management on IT projects
• At least 3 years of working experience in server virtualization technology
• At least 3 years of working experience in MySQL Server
• At least 3 years of working experience in Linux system administration
• At least 3 years of working experience in Microsoft Active Directory
• At least 1 year of working experience in system implementation and maintenance support is preferred
• At least 1 year of working experience in IT security is preferred
• At least 1 year of working experience in Microsoft Windows server is preferred
• At least 1 year of working experience in Oracle Database is preferred
• At least 1 year of working experience in Storage Area Network technology is preferred
• At least 1 year of working experience in management and support of government projects, systems and services is preferred
• Solid working experience in PRTG network monitoring tool is preferred
• Solid working experience in ManageEngine products (including Endpoint Management Desktop Central, OpManager, Eventlog Analyzer and PAM360) is preferred
• Strong, independent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Cantonese, with fluency in Putonghua preferred
• Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent
• At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity

Technical Skills:

• At least 3 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN)
• At least 3 years' experience in MySQL (MSQ)
• At least 3 years' experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration (ADA)
• At least 3 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT)
• 1 year's experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12) is an advantage
• 1 year's experience in IT Security (ITS) is an advantage
• 1 year's experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB) is an advantage
• 1 year's experience in Storage Area Network (SAN) is an advantage
• 1 year's experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM) is an advantage

Non-technical Skills:

• At least 3 years' experience in project management (PRM)
• 1 year's experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage
• 1 year's experience in managing Government projects (MGP) is an advantage
