Job summary

ALL-STAR AGENCY in Hong Kong is seeking a Contract Officer - Private Banking Operations on a 6‑month contract to support client onboarding, AML screening and account servicing in a busy operations environment.

The role is suited to detail‑oriented candidates with some exposure to onboarding or client onboarding, who are comfortable with structured, routine back‑office work and have strong MS Office/Excel skills along with English and Chinese typing ability.

Qualifications

• Prior banking account opening, client onboarding or operations support experience is an advantage.
• Pleasant, professional demeanor with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks independently, work under tight timelines and maintain high attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel, with good English and Chinese typing speed.
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese, with Mandarin an asset for client and internal communication.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily AML name checks and customer data reviews, ensuring information is accurate, complete and aligned with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with account opening and periodic account review processes, from documentation collection and basic checking through to data entry and status updates.
• Handle filing, scanning and maintenance of client records, and perform data input tasks with a strong focus on accuracy and consistency.
• Update and maintain customer information in banking systems, helping keep static data, KYC details and account profiles current.
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. front office, compliance, other operations units) to resolve straightforward documentation and operational queries.
• Support small projects and ad‑hoc tasks assigned by management, including process improvements, testing or simple reporting work.
