Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited seeks a contract IT professional to support the revamp, enhancement and maintenance of departmental websites and data dissemination IT systems for C&SD in Tseung Kwan O.

The role requires hands-on development in .NET/ JSP/ PHP, HTML/XML/JavaScript, and MS SQL Server, with experience on WCMS and government projects. A Bachelor's degree or higher diploma is required, with at least 3 years post-qualification experience.

Qualifications

• Solid working experience in website/web application development (WEA).
• Experience in maintaining data dissemination systems for government projects.
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain WCMS and Departmental Website; support data dissemination IT systems.
• Provide technical support for new data dissemination IT projects.
• Review solutions and deliverables from project contractors; advise on best approaches.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Project Nature (T26) Support the revamp, enhancement and maintenance of departmental website and data dissemination IT systems for C&SD

Duties

Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the C&SD;

• 1. To support the maintenance of the existing Web Content Management System (WCMS), the Departmental Website, and the Interactive Data Dissemination Services of C&SD;
• 2. To provide support for the computer projects of new data dissemination IT systems;
• 3. To scrutinize and provide advice on the solutions and deliverables from the project contractors of these systems; and
• 4. To perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1. Solid working experience in program development in the following areas:
  • - Website/ web application development using .NET, JSP and/or PHP
  • - HTML, Internet/Intranet, XML
  • - JavaScript
  • - Microsoft Active Server Page Scripting
  • - Microsoft SQL Server database
  • - GCIS / EGIS
• 2. Work experience in maintaining data dissemination system for the Government
• 3. (Preferred) Experience in W3C WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards

Technical Skills

• . At least 4 years' experience in Website Administration (WEA);
• . At least 2 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB);
• . At least 2 years' experience in System Backup Operation (BKO);
• . At least 2 years' experience in EGIS (EGI);
• . At least 2 years' experience in HTML version before HTML5 (HTM);

• . At least 2 years' experience in MS ASP.NET (MSA);

• . 1 year's experience in XML (XML) is an advantage.

Non-technical Skills

• . At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
• . 1 year's experience in managing Government projects (MGP) is an advantage;
• . 1 year's experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT) is an advantage;
• . 1 year's experience in IT procurement (PRO) is an advantage;
• - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
• - At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
