Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a software professional to design, develop, implement and support web applications for the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department. The role requires working mainly at FEHD offices in Hong Kong with Cantonese and English language skills.

Qualifications

Project Nature (T26) (a) Contracted Services e-Submission Platform (CSESP)
To implement comprehensive digitalization of the documents such as work plans, inspection records and reports in Cleansing Section for the purpose of streamlining manual paperwork and administrative tasks, and to facilitate contractors' digital submission of the documents.
(b) Utilising Artificial Intelligence (AI) to Expedite the Elimination of Illegal Dumping Black Spots
To combat illegal deposits of refuse expeditiously, such as improving environmental hygiene by significantly reducing the processing time for eliminating straightforward blackspots. This efficiency will be achieved through AI-enabled automated parsing, risk-based blackspot clustering, and the generation of structured action recommendations.

Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the FEHD;
Design, develop, implement, maintain and support web application systems including user training, system testing and documentation for the business operations of Food and Environmental Hygiene Department. Perform vendor management by ensuring external deliverables meet internal quality standards, API integration requirements, and project timelines.

Technical experience: Experience in React Front-end application framework;
Experience in Spring Boot is an advantage;
Knowledge in leveraging Generative AI in data analytics is an advantage.
Technical Skills:
. At least 4 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP);
. At least 4 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB);
. At least 3 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV);
. At least 3 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL);
. 1 year's experience in Web Services (WSV) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in HTML5 (HT5) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skill:
. 1 year's experience in vendor management (VMG) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
