Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a contractor for a 3-month project with the EDB, focusing on development and maintenance of IT applications under the T26 contract. Work includes analysis, programming, testing, documentation and user support.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and maintenance of IT applications including system analysis, programming, testing, documentation and ongoing support.
• Perform system analysis and design for enhancements with simple-to-moderate complexity and develop related code.
• Assist in implementing IT application systems and provide technical support to operation and maintenance.
• Manage large scale system rollout and mass deployment of applications to end users with minimal disruption.
• Support IT security enhancement measures and assist in Security Risk Assessment & Audit (SRA).
• Assist in training, technical support and user guidance, and be willing to work after office hours if needed.

Project Nature (T26) Development and maintenance of IT application systems in EDB.

Duties

• Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the EDB;
• (a) To assist in the development and maintenance of IT applications, including system analysis, programming, system testing, acceptance testing, documentation and ongoing support;
• (b) To perform system analysis and design work for enhancement items relatively simple in nature, and to perform programming for enhancement involving complex logic;
• (c) To assist in the implementation of IT application systems and to provide technical support to the operation and maintenance of IT application systems;
• (d) To manage large scale system rollout and mass deployment of applications to end users, ensuring smooth transition and minimal operational disruption;
• (e) To provide support for the implementation of IT security enhancement measures, and to possess solid experience in the Security Risk Assessment & Audit (SRAA) process, including vulnerability assessment and compliance review; and
• (f) To assist in providing training, technical support and advice to users of IT systems and IT activities, and be willing to work after office hours if needed.

Technical Skills:
