Job summary

Arup is seeking a capable and independent Construction Superintendent to join our multidisciplinary team for a 12-month contract at Airport Island. You will oversee site supervision and execute the TCP T3 role in accordance with CoP T3 RSE/RGE stream requirements.

The ideal candidate has a Civil/Structural Engineering background with at least 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in supervising large-scale projects, and is qualified for TCP-T3.

Qualifications

• Higher Certificate or Higher Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering, or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years involved in site supervision of large scale multi-disciplinary projects.
• Qualified for TCP-T3 under Building Ordinance.
• Excellent presentation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Possession of a valid driving license.

What we offer you

• The commencement and duration of the works will depend on the construction progress. The initial contract will be for 12 months, but this may be extended depending on the development of the project.
• Standard working hours will be five days per week, plus an alternative half-day on Saturday.
• An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidates. Arup will give at least four (4) weeks' notice to confirm when the candidate is required to commence work and when their service will be completed.
• The candidate will be normally required to work the following days and hours:
• Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 18:00; and
• Alternate Saturdays, from 9:00 to 18:00
