Job summary

Leighton Asia is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise a construction project, ensuring delivery quality and on-schedule progress. The role involves supervising sub-contractor work, guiding team actions, and managing resources within budget, with regular client reporting.

The candidate should have a degree in Engineering, at least 10 years of relevant experience (5 in project management), NEC experience preferred, and membership in recognized industry bodies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise a construction project to ensure quality and timely delivery (schedule, quality)
• Monitor progress of subcontracted work and ensure performance to the program
• Guide subordinates to take corrective action when there are issues
• Manage equipment and manpower within budgeted costs
• Report progress against plan to clients and build strong client relationships
• Engage client representatives, head contractor and subcontractors to meet targets
• Monitor adherence to safety and environment guidelines and regulations

• Reporting progress against construction plan to clients as per project guidelines; develop strong working relationships with key client representatives
• Engage client representative, head contractor and subcontractor to achieve the works targets
• Monitoring adherence to safety and environment guidelines and regulations

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in project management
• NEC experience is preferable
• Membership or association to recognized industry bodies or institutes is preferable
• Good communication and interpersonal skill
