Job summary

Leighton Asia is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee project revenues, costs, procurement, and cash flow reporting. The role requires extensive experience in contracting, NEC familiarity, and leadership across project teams.

The candidate will coordinate with clients and financial institutions to ensure timely payments, manage claims, and balance multiple work streams within complex projects. Strong knowledge of legal aspects of contracting is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in main contractors is preferable.
• NEC experience is preferable.
• Knowledge of legal aspects relevant to contracting.

Responsibilities

• Analyse project revenues and direct/indirect costs against forecasts on an ongoing basis.
• Establish procurement strategy and planning with relevant teams in project.
• Coordinate with collections team for timely collection of payments from clients.
• Coordinate with financial institutions for timely payment to suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Create project cash flow reports periodically based on analysis of costs incurred across all cost centers.
• Prepare, submit and monitor monthly progress claims to the client.
• Manage competing priorities and conflicts with other work streams.
