Job summary

Gravitas-Recruitment-Group partners with a securities firm to hire a Commodities Trade Support in Hong Kong. The role covers the commodities trade lifecycle from execution to reconciliation and supports strategy, resource planning and cross-departmental alignment.

You will oversee trade capture, post-trade events, P&L reconciliations, and AML/KYC onboarding, with advanced Excel, strong analytical skills, and three years in middle-office or derivatives trade support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related quantitative field.
• At least three years’ experience in middle-office or trade support focused on derivatives.
• Availability to work onsite in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Execute accurate and timely trade capture, booking and enrichment across a diverse range of commodities products.
• Oversee post-trade lifecycle events, daily position and P&L reconciliations, and exception management.
• Identify operational risks and draft internal procedures and guidelines aligned with policies and regulatory standards.
• Conduct name searches and manage end-to-end KYC and AML compliance checks within client onboarding workflows.
• Support executive strategy execution, resource planning and cross-departmental operational alignment.
• Liaise across functional teams to drive strategic business initiatives and management projects.
• Deliver management reporting and complete ad hoc strategic priorities assigned by senior leadership.
